Scrapping some more on Sunday!

I have definitely been in the mood to scrap these past few days and being able to do it digitally enables me to be sitting out interacting and watching TV with the family at the same time.  Here's a few more Digital Layouts I created on Sunday.

My first layout was inspired by me spending a hour or so out enjoying the sunshine and weeding the garden in our pool area.  I was thinking of Spring and warmer weather and the beauty that comes with that.

Joyful - uses paper and elements from the Simply Me Kit by Heidi Nicole Designs.

BB - Bright and Beautiful uses papers and elements from the His Purpose Mini Kit from Heidi Nicole Design and template from Southern Serenity Designs.  BB (our cat's name) is short for Bright and Beautiful which is what the meaning is of her true official pedigree name Clarabell. Both BB and her brother Felix love climbing into boxes or anything that resembles a box, no matter how big or small. Here she has jumped into my waste paper basket in my craft room and is sitting on the rubbish in it.  I just happened to have my camera handy to capture the photo.

Let your Dreams Take Flight Journal Page uses papers and elements from the Bucket List Kit by Meagan's Creations. This quote always comes to mind when I see a kite. I loved the dreamy colors and elements of this kit so thought I would make a quick page to finish the night.

A Scrappy Saturday

Hi Everyone I hope you are doing well.  I've been tied to my computer of late doing behind the scene things for Unruly PaperArts which I continued doing on Saturday along with tiding up my hard drive and organizing documents and photos onto an external harddrive.  Its amazing just how much we accumulate over a short period of time.  But I am feeling a lot better now that I have done this and it makes it much more easy to find a file I may be looking for.

Because I was already at my computer playing with photos I decided to do a couple of chick digital scrap layouts while I was sitting with hubby the football and a late night movie.

The first one is photos taken from a day in April this year when we took Curtis who was in our care at the time to Dolphin Magic at Coffs Harbour.

The second layout is of some of my feathered friends who frequently visit our garden.  As you know I love to relax by sitting, watching and taking lots of photos of them.

Both of these were quick layouts using Die Cut Templates Vol 3 Layout Designs by Meagan's Creations.  Templates for Digital Scrapping are where the Design is all done for you you simply add in your choice of papers and elements.  Dolphin Magic uses Papers and Elements from the Everyday Matters Spring Collection by Heidi Nicole Designs and Feathered Friends uses Papers from the Bucket List Kit by Meagan's Creations.  Both Designers have stores at the Digi Chick.

It hasn't been all computer stuff, I have been making a start on organising arty things to take to New Zealand and playing with a few new supplies for upcoming Design Team Projects.  While this morning we spent a short time outdoors weeding in the warmth of the winter sun.  Starting with the garden in our pool area as we thought we'd tackle the one with less weeds first.  Only about 10 more gardens needing our attention.

Simply Me - Simply Scrapping

Heidi Nicole Designs has released a couple of fun new kits in the past fortnight.  One full kit called Simply Me, and two Mini Kits Beautiful You, and  Cherished Blessings.

I have used the Simply Me Kit to scrap a rare photo of myself.  I am loving the colors and the vellum elements in this particular kit.  I thought I'd scrap this photo as it was the last one taken of me with long hair. In April this year I had my hair cut short back to my ears.

I also had time to play along with this month's Twisted Template Challenge from Cornelia Designs over on the Digi Chick Forum, using their provided template and one of Heidi Nicole Designs older kits - Everyday Matters

Also for this challenge you were required to scrap some Summer Photos so I played around with some fun holiday snaps of "C" who we had in our care for a few weeks during which time we went on our already planned Holidays to Coffs Harbour.  Our daily activities changed a little to accommodate but it was a fun week in the company of this adorable six year old.

Digital Scrapping Layouts!

Hi Everyone!  It's been a while since I have posted any just for me projects let alone a scrap layout, but recently I joined the CT for Heidi Nicole Designs (Digital Scrapbooking) who is a Digital Designer over at the DigiChick.  My decision to join this team was to both challenge and encourage me to scrap more and it also challenges me to learn more about these processes and using digital editing programs such as Photoshop Elements.  It is a great method of creating when time is short and time has definitely been my enemy of late.

Anyhow I have got a couple of layouts to share with you all today, two which I created for the June Challenges over at the Digi Chick and one which I created simply to showcase some of the elements from one of Heidi Nicole's Kits.

My layout Paper Play uses the latest Mini Kit by Heidi Nicole Designs - His Purpose

My second layout Laugh and Smile uses Heidi Nicole's Mini Kit - Grind Brew Enjoy (a great one for coffee lovers) and was playing along with the Twisted Template Challenge for June which incorporates a Template from Cornelia Designs.

And my third layout Spring Grove Sunrise was created for the June Use it All Challenge at the Digi Chick. This challenge provided a mini kit by Kimeric Kreations and you had to use every element in the kit (you could also incorporate other items of your choosing).  The colors of this provided kit were perfect I thought for my photo of the Sunrise here at Spring Groves.  The torn paper look layers were using masks from Dawn Inskip who you will find over at the Scrapbook Graphics Site.

I have also this week had some time to play traditionally too, I will share some of these creations a little later in the days to come.
