PTT#82 Color/Picture Inspiration

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Hope you are all having a great start to your week.  I have been recovering from the weekend these past couple of days.  Rod and I attended the first 2 days of a 3 day information/training session and we are both feeling mentally drained as there was lots to take in, so apart from a bit of watering some plants and crafting I haven't been up to much.

Its time for our Monthly Color/Picture Inspiration Challenge this week over at Party Time Tuesdays.

My card today uses the delightful image and sentiment for a back to school card by DtsArts and Authentique Delightful Papers kindly provided by the Paper Parade who are two of our fabulous sponsors this week.

I have colored with my Tria Markers, cut some leaves from a scrap piece of paper I had in my stash and added a few Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest also.

I really love the pretty combination of papers in this collection from Authentique and have used them for one of my upcoming DT projects that I will share with you later in the week also.

So be sure not to be green with envy of this week of those who play along and have a chance of winning the great prizes being offered by our sponsors, instead get out all your green stash and play along too!

For all the details, more fabulous inspiration and to link your projects simply go to the PTT Site!

PTT #68 Colour/Picture Inspiration

I just love the latest Challenge at Party Time Tuesdays this week, because the Colour Inspiration is none other than tones of Purple which is my all time favorite color.  They were chosen in honor of "Wear Purple for Peace Day' which is celebrated on May 16.

I am a bit late getting this post done, as I had my card half made before I got sick, so I only put the finishing touches on it this morning.

Don't you just love this delightful fairy in a Tea Cup, it is from DtsArts who is one of our sponsors this week along with Kenny K.   I have lots of purple in my stash except for markers (this challenge brought that to my attention, so it will soon be rectified following a little online shopping...,hehe) however I had made do.  I used some Echo Park Papers, with Stampin' Up Cardstock and Sentiment Stamp and finished with some flowers, die cut flourishes and bling, which is everything a fairy needs right?

Be sure to check out all the other wonderful purple or as Dawn calls it Plum Crazy Creations over on the Party Time Tuesdays Blog and whilst there find out a bit more about our wonderful sponsors too!
