Busy Busy Busy

I have been kept busy in the last couple of weeks, card making in between trips to Brisbane with my Dad having an operation and the selling of our investment property we have there.

Here a few examples of what I have been doing.

I had to make some new designs for those I sell through one of the local shops in town, plus I had a special order for a 21st Birthday and 100th Birthday Card.  On top of this I had two Mothers Day Cards, 3 Wedding Anniversary Cards and a Birthday Card to make for myself to send to my family and friends.

Tommorrow I am doing my first Children's Stampin' Party.  In otherwords I am providing some of the entertainment for a nine year olds Birthday Party.  The girls (I've been told no boys allowed)  get to spend two fun packed hours making a favor box and card using Stampin' Up! Products.  The Birthday Girl gets to choose the Stamp Set and she gets to keep this set as part of the Birthday Package. 

I have done classes with some of these girls before so Yes I do know what I am getting myself in for.  Haha...... No I really love working with Kids, I love their enthusiasm and the different personalities that shine through.

It has certainly cooled down here in the last week with temperatures reaching as low as five most mornings, but that is not as low as the tablelands are getting which is where I am headed in the next few weeks.  I am off to Tenterfield on the first weekend of June for some special bonding with other like minded Stampin' Up! Demonstrators for a weekend of fun and card making.  I believe that they have been in the minus catergory when it comes to minimum temperatures..........brrrrrrrrrr!  I think I may have to go out and buy some thermal underwear.  All cold jokes aside I am really looking forward to this weekend away as it will be the first time I meet some of the ladies going who are in the same downline as myself with Stampin' Up!

The following weekend (long weekend in June) I am off on a bus trip with another bunch of lovely ladies to the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo in Brisbane.  So by the time I slow down I am sure to have lots of inspiration and new ideas to share with you all.
