I love the party hats stamp in the Party Hearty Stamp Set from Stampin' Up. Here is two ways you can use this stamp for quick and simple birthday cards when time is short. Each card will take less than five (5) minutes to make, and both designs are suited for beginners.
To start I have taken a piece of Green Galore A4 Cardstock and cut in half to make my two card bases by scoring in half and folding. I have than used up other bright coloured left over cardstock pieces to complete other components of the card.
The first card I have used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour in each hat a different colour and stamped on Whisper White Card Stock which I have then trimmed to a suitable sized rectangle and stock across the top of my Green Galore card base. To finish I have simply stamped the Birthday Wishes sentiment on the bottom right corner in a dark shade ink to match the hats.
The second card I stamped out the same image but cut out each hat which I than stuck onto my bright Yoyo Yellow punched circles on different angles and stuck these onto the blue, Pacific Point layer of card stock which was than mounted onto the Green Galore Card Base. The sentiment Party Hearty stamped in black ink, finishes this card.

How cute, sounds like they are easy enough for a child to make their own party invitations.
