More Smashing Cards from our January Project Kit.

Each month as part of the Creative Team over at the Scrap Lounge, we receive a small parcel of goodies to use to create our Monthly Challenge Examples to showcase what each sponsor sells.  This month the products were sent to us from Jody at Stick N Giggle.  It feels just like Christmas getting new goodies to play with each month.  Here is a picture of all the goodies I received from Jody for our January Projects.

Two days ago I shared with you a card made using the Acrylic Smash Technique.  Here are other cards I made using the same piece of acetate I had smashed out and other items from the kit.

For the first card I stamped the Butterfly Image onto the frontside of the painted acetate with Staz On Ink and then punched the circle out.  This card also incorporated me painting Acrylic Paint directly onto the Medallion Stamp by Stampin' Up!, and stamping the image onto my card base as well as painting directly onto the card around the Medallion. The colours used for painting directly onto the stamp and card were the Making Memories Lilac and the Seafoam Speciality Glaze as seen in the above product kit photo.  I also incorporated the bling from this kit around the medallion and as the flower centres.

I love the softness of this second card which is simply a piece of the painted acetate used as a panel across the card with no stamping on it.  I have used the lace which was included in the kit across the top and bottom of the card which all coordinates beautifully with the chosen card base.  The sentiment was stamped onto yet another piece of the same Acrylic Smash Acetate Piece and then framed with a piece of  hodgepodge hardware by SU.  The flower in the top corner was stuck on to the card front using the stunning hat pin which was also included in our January Project Kit.

In the next few days I will share the final project I created using this kit, which is a Scrapbook Page using the flowers that were provided to us some of the lace and you guessed it more Acrylic Paint.
