It's time for another Scrap Challenge

February means that you have the opportunity to participate in another Sketch and Technique Challenge over at the ScrapLounge.  This months Technique Challenge is all about Stamping and Embossing whilst we have another beautiful Sketch by the Lovely CT Member Kym.

This is my example for the Sketch Challenge, I have used the Emboss Resist Technique, Distress Inks and Tim Holtz Masks all which are examples of this months Technique.

Stamps:  Daisy Bucket Flower Trio, Papers:  Basic Grey, Scrapworks, Le Suh.  Inks:  Distress Inks Dried Marigold, Aged  Mahogany, Pine Needles and Pumice Stone.  Other Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die Cut Flowers, Tim Holtz Mini Masks, Clear Embossing Powder,

I just had to scrap this photo of my mother, it is one of two of my favorite's of her when she is younger.  There is such an air of elegance to them that perfectly suited the sketch and idea I had in my head along with the items I received in my Monthly Project Kit.

The Journalling Reads:  Mother is such a simple word, but to me there's meaning seldom heard. For everything I am today, My Mother's love showed me the way.

Like every month, I absolutely loved the sketch and I am sure you will too if you wish to play along.  I hope you do.
