Echidna Antics!

Recently we had a small visitor to our garden.  An Echidna!

He had come across from the neighbours yard and through our property, onto our outdoor area and into the pool area, where he was very determined to explore every inch.   This was the closest any of us had ever been to an Echidna. He was so cute and having the perfect photo opportunity I couldn't resist, I ran for the camera.   He made his way across the pavers, around the fenceline until he reached the garden bed, which he climbed up into and explored.

If I got too close less than about 3 feet away he would curl up into a tight ball or try to hide.  Eventually he made his way out of the garden bed and towards the side fence and Elwood our Dog, who got very excited, so we thought it best to sweep him up into a bucket carry him out of the pool area, and away from Elwood and send him on his way.

A little while later he was seen wandering up the back of our property towards the Nature Strip.

Papers:  Kaisercraft Bubblegum Hills Collection
Other:  Kaisercraft Bubblegum Hills Chipboard Elements, American Craft Buttons and Ribbon
All of the above items were kindly donated to the CT by this month's sponsor Chocollo Cards and Crafts

I thought some of the photos would make the perfect layout for the Sketch Challenge this month at the ScrapLounge.  I also incorporated some Doodling which is this month's Technique in this layout as well.

The other Creative Team Members have some wonderful layouts to share also, you can see them here!
