There was a little bit of technique involved - Masking, Embossing, Punching, Colouring and Popping Up for Dimension. But overall I found this quite quick to make.
We are celebrating my FIL's birthday today with a birthday lunch and here is what we are giving my him as a present.
You may remember last month I did a Steam Punk Class at a Retreat I attended. The interactive layout (all the cogs/wheels turn) we did at the class was designed to sit on a stand and has a photo of my FIL with his first grandchild. Luke (grandson) is now 18 so it is quite fitting that this layout features a flying clock as Time Really Does Fly.

The styles are so different, it looks like two different people did them. I love the color combo and the loopies on the first. GREAT JOB. The second:it's artsy/cool. I LOVE THE LOOK. I wish that I could come up with something like that. Maybe some day...
