A Wedding Photo, Damask and a Frame

Hi everyone!  It's time for my first post of September for the Robin's Nest.

For my project today I was inspired by seeing the lovely card my fellow Design Team Member Michelle Wallace made a few posts back using the wonderful Damask Black and White Paper from the Robin's Nest and her color combo.  You will find her card here.

Spring has just started here in Australia so its a time of the year that I like to refresh, renew and rearrange a few bits and pieces around the house.  I have a white box frame which is 12 x 12 which can be used either on the wall or on a shelf to display a layout, and in sorting through some photos I found an old wedding photo (18 years old) which was of hubby and I standing among a stunning flower display at the park we had our professional photos taken.  We were married in the Spring!    For this layout I also decided to revisit an old sketch I had designed which uses circles, I love circles.  You can find the sketch I designed and my original layout here.

The elegance of this beautiful Damask Paper and the Glitter Swirl Papers I thought were perfect for a wedding layout and I included the dragonfly as one of the many things it symbolizes is change.  Getting married was definitely a big change in our lives.

I of course could not complete this layout without some of my favorite bling so I included some Red Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest Christmas Collection.

Before mounting onto the Chilli Cardstock I decided to punch the corners of the black cardstock.  My completed layout now sits in the frame on one of the bookcases in our lounge room.

The Robin's Nest Supplies Used for this layout:-

 Chili Cardstock

Glitter Silver on Black cardstock vanilla

Red Swirl Glitter Cardstock christmas dd-137 dew drops 1 oz bottle

Having only used circles and strips of some of these papers, has given me some left overs and a great excuse to make a card or two.  I have one to share with you tomorrow if you'd care to pop back and take a look, in the mean time happy creating and have a great Sunday!
