Hi Everyone! This month I am joining one of my crafting/blogging friends on a 31 day card challenge. Mary Kate from Emkay Designs thought that this would be something fun to do and has come up with a list of 31 different challenges, one for each day of the month.

I have the cards for Day One and Day 2 to share with you today. Whilst playing along with these challenges each day I am going to try and use up some of my paper/cardstock scraps and old stash.
Day One's Challenge was to make a card using Black and White plus one other Color.
I went with yellow and the very cute image On a Wing and a Prayer 3 from the Digi Garden
The Black and White Dotted Paper, the Bee Happy Scrabble Tile Stickers and the Scalloped Border are all leftovers from some Echo Park Paper Collection Packs.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Day Two's Challenge was to use the Color Combination of Mint and Chocolate.
I used a piece of Green Shimmer Cardstock for the backing of my image panel which is the closest I had to mint green. The chocolate chip papers are from Stampin' Up these papers are from 2009/2010 when I was a SU Demo and I have had scrap pieces sitting around since that time.
This card uses another Digi Garden Image, called Edward is a Prince. I have colored Edward with my Tria Markers and added a touch of Silver Kindy Glitz and a Silver Dew Drop to his crown. The light wasn't the best taking these photos, so I may try again in the morning to get a better shot.
