WOYWW #220

Happy Wednesday!
And welcome to my Workdesk everyone for WOYWW #220.
If you want to know what WOYWW stands for and how to join the fun
you will find all the details over on our fabulous host Julia's Blog.

Since last week I have had another clean up of my desk
and my pile of stamps have all been cleaned and put away.
The past couple of days I have been playing with some new stamps
and working on some DT projects for Altered Pages

On my desk is one still in progress.
It is a Inspirational Quote Mini Accordion Book
which I am going to stamp all my favorites from my new quote stamps in,
plus at the back of my desk you can see a card for Baby
this was made also using some of my new stamps.

I am loving these beautiful papers from Glitz.
In fact I am in love with a lot of their collections at the moment
as they have a wonderful distressed vintage look
with a touch of fresh and funky thrown in.

Anyhow I am keeping this short and sweet,
so I will simply leave you today,
with a little inspirational quote from my book.
(Empowered Words Stamp Set by Donna Downey for Unity)

Have a great week and Happy WOYWW!

Oh, I love the accordion book so much!!! Those papers look terrific and the quote is amazing! It is so inspirational! I was talking to a dear friend yesterday about strength and he pointed out that strength is about knowing where your weaknesses are too and seeking help for them! Don't you think that's a wonderful thought too? Thank you so much for sharing today. Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx#35

I think that's a totally brilliant idea to have an inspirational quotes book, Danie! I've got a word document with them on, that I try to remember to add to when the opportunity arises, but this is so much nicer! It looks absolutely gorgeous too.

Thanks for your lovely comment - yes, very exciting now I'm starting to move stuff in. It does make me realise, though, how much organising I have to do, adding things to the wall to store things etc. It will be fun to do though.

Happy belated WOYWW,

A quote book will be great and I always think they are the most versatile of stamps, you can use them on LO's, cards, mini books and journal pages! Apologies for my late arrival of doing the round of WOYWW desks! Annette #6
