Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hi Everyone!  My blog has been somewhat neglected of late, but I can now reveal one of the main reasons (apart from life in general being busy) why.  I have taken on a new role combining two of my favorite pastimes (blogging and crafting) and am now the new editor for Unruly PaperArts Blogozine.

Unruly PaperArts is a collaborative Blogozine featuring regular and guest columnists as well as reader-submitted articles on stamping, mixed media, collage, altered art and scrapbooking.

Having the support and blessings of the rest of the columnists I have two main people to thank for having the faith in me taking on this role and my desire to continue Unruly PaperArts going.  They are the wonderful Shar who is the creator and retiring editor of Unruly PaperArts and Zoe Sanderson (we don't have a title for her yet, but let's just say she is my assistant extraordinaire).  Their encouragement, assistance and support in coordinating things over the past few weeks has been a god send.

The past month has been a huge learning curve for me.  I have been learning the ropes of coordinating this Blogozine, reading applications for a few new columnists, designing Issue Banners, Blog Badges and editing the articles for the Upcoming Issue.  I have also been working on some new features as well, one of which kicks off this coming month also.

Our October Issue, kicks off 1st October EST (USA) Time.  I do hope you will take a peek as the Unruly Columnists are wonderfully talented and are sure to inspire you.

As well as neglecting my own blog I have also been neglecting visiting my fellow crafty friends blogs so apologies to you all and I promise I will hopefully be back in full swing following this week and the end of school holidays.
