| Send in the Clowns Tag Book |
One of the ATC's I made gave me an excuse to play with my new Alice's Utterly Mad Tea Party Stamps from the Mailbox Muse. You can see Alice and the Drink Me Vial Stamp to the left of my desk and My Clown Tag Book to the back just visible behind the Gold German Scrap and Embellishment Packs I used on my tags.
At the front of my desk is my ATC Swap Folder (housing all the cards I have received in trades and swaps recently). It's out so that I can put away the three latest cards I received. You may remember me mentioning I was in an Altered Mouse Swap. Well these cards are my returns from this.

This month I have got some Birthday Blog Candy to give away (my first candy) so I invite you all to check this out by following the link on the picture on my sidebar! And lastly while I have your attention I just thought I'd also let you know that Unruly Paper Arts is having a Call for new Columnists. If any of you are interested you can read more here.
September is planning on being one very busy month and I have adopted the word FLEXIBILITY to live by over the coming weeks, as my schedule keeps changing. Trying to find two days to go away with Hubby is almost impossible at present.....lol. I guess that's the joys of fostering, and trying to fit the rest of our lives in around it.

Those ATC's are so neat - and the one with the mouse butterfly and legs cracks me up! LOL!!! Your desk looks like it's full of goodies to play with....hmmm, no wonder you create such lovely things.

Wow! I love your posts! Those ATCs are just great, as I love clowns sooo much. Also the altered mouses (!) are the tops! ah Danie, you can do it gal, flexibility is a great gift and once acquired, a huge skill! My year long mantra has been 'make an effort' and it's going quite well! s. for time on the computer B time at the desk..it's one long battle, huh!

What a great tag book and so much work must have gone into it. Thank you for your visit this week. I too bought myself a state of the art cycling machine and then found that I cannot, at the moment, bend my knee enough to even get my one foot into the pedals. At the gym, they find something else to substitute for that, and the rest is all geared very specifically to my needs. They check you on a regular basis and alter the programme to suit. By the way, that project will "go live" on Sunday at 16.00 (BST) if you want to see it. xx Maggie #6

The Tawny Owl is actually going to be a picture, but I have done this size (approx. 11" or 27.7cm diameter) as place mats as well.
We and both of our daughters have a set of twelve place mats and twelve coasters, all with birds, butterflies, woodland scenes and animals. They are all given four coats of a heat and water resistant acrylic varnish, and backed with a disc of felt, so they don't scratch the table when in use.
I love the mice on your blog page - great. Hope you get some you time just with your hubby and yourself. Time to relax and admire God's wonderful creation does sometimes seem to get squeezed out - such a shame.
I better get back to doing some more to the Owl. He's not going to be finished in time as a birthday present, so he'll end up under someone's Christmas Tree!
