WOYWW #224

Happy Hump Day everyone and a big thank you to all my followers and fellow deskers who have visited me this past week. Once again I didn't get to as many desks as I had hoped last week and have decided that if I can randomly visit at least 50% of the links each week I am doing well.

Okay before I show you my desk, if you are new here, and don't know what WOYWW is then read more over at Julia's Blog here.

This week I managed to make a mess and one card for an upcoming birthday whilst the project I teased you all with last time, is still a work in progress, with no progress made on it at all.

I used the Uncharted Waters Collection of Papers from Glitz and a Stamp from the Glitz Happy Travels Set my card which is all from Altered Pages as this card is my DT Project for them, and you can see my card a bit later today on their blog.

Remnants of my card making efforts, as well as some left over bits from my project last week.  Plus you may spy at the back the start of a oriental ATC mini book.

Spring truly is my favorite time of the year.  Here's a bit more about our week here at Spring Grove.

This past weekend we spent most of it outdoors.

We found a new home for my Buddah (finally brought back from our other house) and the boys went for their first swim of the season.  The water was still a bit cold for me.

We were watering gardens, tidying up pots in the green house and moved some of our Orchids in flower around to our outdoor area so they could be admired.

I have also enjoyed this past week helping 'A' with his year 9 history assignment.  I have learned heaps about the 1st Australian Tunneling Company in WW1, and also that I really need to read more about our history as I always find it so interesting when I do.   'A' then returned the favor and taught me how to do a few more things with Photoshop Elements.

And lastly I received some Happy Mail.

A Purple Pack of Loveliness from my DT Buddy Gia in Hawaii

My ATC returns from the Cupcake Swap over at ATC's for All

And the 3D Swap which allowed embellishing to your hearts content.

Happy WOYWW everyone!  I hope you all have a fabulous week!

What gorgeous happy mail! I love your Buddha; he looks just right in that spot. Very interested in your WW1 findings. I recently discovered some info on an ancestor killed in WW1 - so sad all that loss of life and how brave those guys were who dug and existed in the trenches! Have a great WOYWW. Julie Ann xx #45

Lots going on in your crafty space Danielle.
Isn't it wonderful to receive such gorgeous happy mail! ;D
I had to leave my orchids in Melbourne when we came back to the UK so I've been out and bought new ones. They are flowering and look happy which makes me smile :D
Enjoy your week and desk hopping

What a busy week, Danielle. Lots to peep at on your desk. Those orchids are lovely, too. Imagine being able to keep them outside! Ours have to stay tucked up in the house - although we do have lots of success with them - they flower again and again.
Have a special week.

As you're entering spring, we're entering fall! I love the change of seasons although summer in Texas is 6 months long.

Love the stamps and papers you have used for your card.

Would love to leaf through your Oriental ATCs, Danie!!

Happy Wednesday!

Lynn

I just went to check your card out and it's awesome!! I left a comment. I HAD the best of intentions when I rearranged my blog, to visit every dt every week. I was going to do 1 team a day. I haven't even started attempting it yet! And, I was going to make sure all my work was in my gallery, and get my social media tidied up too. None of that happened either. Just too busy!!! I love being busy, but hate being late. meaning, I always push stuff off until it all has to be done at once. I am a meticulous planner in all other aspects of my life believe it or not!!
Your Spring looks wonderful!! Beautiful sunlight and flowers!! In New Jersey, it is literally freezing! We never get temperatures like this until November! What the heck is going on????
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful Thursday!!

Hi Danielle! Thanks for visiting my blog and sorry that it has taken me a while to get back to you :-). Time is flying this year and I like to visit as many blogs as I can, but sometimes it is a bit hard :-(. Lol I know what it is like to say you are going to get something finished but have trouble doing it! I have become one of your followers and I love seeing your spring photos...ahh can't wait for summer as I am sick of the cold lol!! Happy WOYWW.

LOL! Haven't really thought about Weds. a HUMP day for a long time. Once I stopped going in to an office, the middle of the work week lost all meaning - every day is a work day now :)

I love your ATC glimpses.

Happy (now my internet is back) WOYWW!

Isn't it great now that spring is here and the weather is getting warmer, I say that with tongue in cheek as we have had a hell of a week with rain in Melbourne. Your orchards are beautiful and I noticed some of mine in flower at the sideway, maybe I should bring mine onto the deck to be admired too. Great bunch of atc, and yes I love my tria's and I started with a tin too. If you want more tria's my girlfriend sells them cheep.

Can't get my orchids to re-flower once the spike dies away, what's the secret!? Love the thought of the pool but we're just entering Autumn here, which I love, but that is rapidly followed by Winter, which I don't love, lol! Lovely happy mail this week, very pretty atc's.

Boo hoo! Your pool is making me sad! I went for my last swim last week. The weather is cooling off a lot and I didn't keep the heat on and the pool is too cold for swimming now. I'll be closing it up for winter soon.

Hi Dannie,

Thanks for visiting me. I visit everyone ending in the same number (as advised by someone else), then any favourites, anyone who visits me, and if I have time some of the very late ones because they don't get many visits.

I love your purple happy post! Spring, wow, and here we are shivering into Autumn and with some days feeling very cold indeed!

I love your garden and pool.

Cazzy x
