The December Challenge for Altered Pages is Colors of the Season. This is purely open to interpretation and can be the colors of Christmas, the current weather of the season ie, winter, summer or the latest fashion trends to name a few.
A few weeks back I was sent a number of goodies from the very Generous Jean at Altered Pages which were Christmas oriented so I have used these to create my challenge piece.
I was sent some 6 x 6 Pocket and Tag Mini Albums, so I used one of these and printed directly onto each panel of this using my Gelli Plate in various shades of Red and Green. I also printed with my Gelli Plate onto each tag. One red and One Green. Allowing the edges of my panels to show through, I then covered each panel with a selection of Christmas Papers from Glitz.
The front cover of my album I decorated using a strip of Red Glittered Cardstock/Paper and a huge Glitter Snowflake, some decorative and textured scallop strips from the Bazzill Half the Edge Cardstock Strips Pack and the Word Merry is from the Hello December What Nots by Glitz.
I also added some of the Bazzill Half the Edge Decorative Cardstock Strips to the pockets and other panels in my album.
These cute reindeer charms I found at the local Dollar Store
A few other elements from the Glitz Hello December What Nots Kit were used inside also. I now just have to add ribbons to my tags and my photos from Christmas last year which was our first one with Alex our foster son.
