In June of this year I finished up my second term with the Robin's Nest Design Team - my last card whilst on the team was quite fitting.
At the start of the month I headed off to Melbourne for the week, which included three days meeting and crafting with my Aussie and New Zealand online friends from ATC's for All. I couldn't help but explore some of the craft shops whilst there and came home with a few new things. My favorite would have to be this cute Christmas Cat who is Hanging Out for Christmas.
I just had to use him for the Stitched Up Challenge for Cards in Envy.
July saw me take part in my very first WOYWW, which is a weekly link up where you get to see everyone's workdesks from around the globe.
I was Oriental Dreaming and posted my first article for Unruly PaperArts. Who would have known that just a few months later I would be editor and own this Collaborative Blogozine.
Unity Stamp Co hosted their Itty Bitty A Day Challenge which I managed to play along with each day, color by way of Gelatos and my Spray Inks featured heavily during this time.
August saw my thoughts turn to Spring and I was mixing things up, creating a Wall Plaque with some of my Unity Stamps that I recently won and a after reading some Kelly Rae Roberts, I was painting too!
One of my earlier Unity Stamp Co Challenge wins earned me a spot as their Guest Designer for their Be Inspired Blog Hop which was so much fun and such an honor. I created three cards for this hop - this cracked glass butterflies card was my favorite.
I ended the month deciding to give away some blog candy to celebrate my upcoming birthday. My prize included some of the products I love and perfect for the mixed media artist.

Danie, your creations are stunning. Love the butterflies using the cracked glass technique.
A belated Merry Christmas to you and your family and I wish you all good things in 2014
