2 for Tuesday Blog Hop

Hi I am back again with another Post, my second for today.  Altered Pages is teaming up with Pink Persimmon Stamps and hopping today.

Pink Persimmon

Pink Persimmon make and sell quality vintage inspired clear stamps......you can find out more by heading to their website http://www.pinkpersimmon.com/.

I was sent the Stamp Mermaid Pearls to use for my project today, it only arrived yesterday due to the tonne of Christmas Mail being sent it must have been delayed.  Anyhow it didn't leave me much time to put my thinking cap on so a card was in order, as was using the Vintage Style Papers from Glitz.  I had some left over scraps of my favorite floral paper from the Unchartered Waters Collection.  This scrap inspired my color choices and was used to make my background.

I handmade and stamped my background using Gesso, a Stencil, Spray Inks a Text Stamp and some torn strips of my paper scraps.  Adding my background to a black card base I then layered some black cardstock and a piece of yellow embossed Cardstock and to to this added on top my Tria Colored Stamped Mermaid Pearls Image which I had fussy cut around, removing any text. My chosen Sentiment 'Be Open to What Comes Next' was stamped within the sign board frame of the Mermaid Pearls Image and I added a flower to finish.

It's so neat to see how differently everyone used the same pieces!! One of my favorite things about hops like this.

I really like the way you used this stamp as a sandwich board to broadcast your message.
