Day 5 of Five Days of Flashbacks and Something New

Happy New Year to all my crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful time seeing out 2013 and bringing in 2014.  I missed posting my Day 5 of Five Days of Flashbacks yesterday but do have a flashback to share with you as part of my post today to farewell the year passed and to start the New Year as well.

My flashback is one of my favorite ATC's of 2013 which I made this time last year.  It features a delightful image from the AP2057 Children's New Year  Collage Sheet from Altered Pages.

And for my first project I have used an image from the same Collage Sheet to add to my Tiny Tag Book (ATC Size) using papers from the Glitz Unchartered Waters Collection.   My tag book is a try and twist of a technique shown over on Unruly PaperArts a few days ago.

I just love the patterns and colors of this paper collection from Glitz.

My book opens to a Quote Perfect for the Start of the New Year from one of my Unity Stamp Co Sets.

It reads 'Imagine it, Believe it, Achieve It' and on the other page is the sweet image from the Children's New Year Collage Sheet.

Inside of the book and on the tags I thought would make a wonderful place to record your wishes and dreams for 2014 like a mini journal and then you can keep it somewhere safe so you can look back throughout the year at what was written, as they also say when you voice (or write down in this case) your dreams and desires, they are more likely to come true.


The New Year, is all about starting over and new Beginnings, so my immediate wish for all my friends to begin 2014 is to find some time for some creative play.
