Thinking St Patrick will be green with Envy.......over this card for Mum!

One Colour not in short supply in the Stampin Up Colour Range is Green........and with St Patricks Day just around the corner I started to play with different green colour combinations to make a card.

However instead of one for St Patricks Day I ended up making a Mothers Day Card.

I love using scraps of leftover cardstock or papers, so with the green I trimmed off the side of the second layer of this card I used it on the front of the card to draw more attention to the flowers.

The other thing I loved about making this card was I got to use my paper piercing mat.  Until I brought this (it is part of the Mat Pack sold by Stampin Up) I don't think I had ever really used paper piercing in my card creations, now I use it whenever I can , it is especially good to add that extra touch when I feel that my card is missing something.
