This week the design team got to play with some fun images from our Sponsor Chi Chi Memories. We were also inspired to make our own handmade flower embellishment for our cards with the fabulous tutorial from Twodays Techniques which you just have to check out for yourself.
For my card this week I first stamped and sponged my background on white cardstock before embossing and mounting onto the Turquoise Cardstock. For the next layer I took a piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, and punched along the top border with my new Martha Stewart Ribbon Loops Punch. To this I added a Turquoise Cherry Blossom punched strip and my stamped and mounted Sentiment (On Your Birthday - by SU) and finished with my cut out Birthday Girl Image from Chi Chi Memories and a handmade flower (as shown in Twodays Techniques Tutorial) and a bit of glitter all mounted on my Whisper White Cardstock Base.
