You may notice that there is no patterned paper on this layout, the background and elements/embellishments have all been handstamped, using my New Dark Room Door Seaside Collection/s Stamps. The title word Water is hand stamped and cut out whilst the word Baby is cut using one of my Cuttlebug Alphabets.
The quote I have used for this layout was one from the Dark Room Door Seaside Vol 1 Stamp Sets, it reads: 'Memory is like a child walking along a seashore. You never can tell what small pebble they will pick up and store away among their treasured things. - Pierce Morris.'
This quote rang true to me, looking at these photos brought back happy memories.
As a child we always spent our family holidays at the beach, so it was no wonder I grew up loving the water, and in my late teens I became a Volunteer Surf Lifesaver at Coolum Beach in Queensland which my sister had also done before me. Now living in the country we still try and spend at least one of our holidays each year visiting the beach, although I haven't braved the water for some years now.
Coffs Harbour has been our favorite holiday destination in the past few years.
