Since your last peek at my desk, I have managed to tidy up a bit, still re-organizing as I go, and I finally got the boys onto hanging my peg board to get a few things up off shelves allowing easier access.
Yesterday (Tuesday) I spent some time cutting up some Gelli Prints (I've done heaps) into card size and ATC size backgrounds and had some inky messy fun in my art journal, so it is these items that are currently on my desk.
To the right hand back corner you can see my ATC Backs, whilst all the items I played with for my journal page; Flat Fabio Mists, Gelatos, Handmade Masks, Stamps and Ink litter the rest of my desk space.
The mailman brought some happy mail yesterday too, so also on my desk at present are my return ATC's from a Mixed Media Dragonfly Swap which was hosted by my friend Kitty in the Netherlands over at ATC's for All.
My last photo today is for all you bird lovers out there. One of the joy's of living out in the country is that we share our home with an abundant amount of birds and wildlife. Most days we enjoy a morning or afternoon coffee in the company of our feathered friends such as this male king parrot. This year we have two males and one female that are frequent visitors. This male usually comes looking for us when there is no seed in the tree feeder and was so hungry today he wouldn't wait for Rod to place the tray down. He flew in and took it right from Rod's hands. The males have such a striking red head and chest with green wings and tail, whilst the females are a dull green all over.
Okay that's it from me today, I am off to visit some desks. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Day!

Yes cool peg board. Great way to store stencils and scissors. Love the journal pages and my goodness that's a stack of ATC bases! Wow! Super cool bird and eating while the food is being held! So cool! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #14
I like that peg board, I don't have room in my office for one of them I have shelves everywhere. I adore that beautiful bird with striking colors, what a delight to have them visit you daily. Bless you for feeding his family.
Happy WOYWW

This is such a lovely post! I don't know what to comment on first! The peg board looks so useful and colourful in use! I love, love, love that peek at your art journal and dragon flies are my favourite creature - or do I say that about butterlies, humming-birds, cats - so many fabulous creatures and images out there! And finally your kingly feathered friend! Stunning! Have a great WOYWW! Great to see you back. I love visiting! Julie Ann xx #38

Organizing can feel good and gives new inspiration! Lovely journal page with great colours indeed, and also beaufitul dragonfly atc's.
We had birds on the balcony as well, until I was fed up with the birdpoo on it. (not fun on a small balcony with kids that want to touch everything), so I put a windmobile thing up, mostly just for fun but a side effect was that it kept the birds off the balcony. They are still visible in the trees in the garden below, so we don't miss out on them. And this morning I did found one on the balcony, a wild "parkiet"- dead.
:( And coward me didn't dare go near with my bare feet. Even with socks on it was scary, I'm much braver with some armor on. (Closed shoes, thick jacked and a glove.)There are lots of those birds around here, they used to be domestic pets but some had been released and they form wild colonies now. I do love the little birds more, but unfortunately only luring them to the balcony didn't work. It's because of the pooping doves and seagulls that my balcony is now claimed off limits for birds.
One day, when I have a garden I'll set up proper feeding stations for small birds...

Looks like your embossing folders, die cuts, and scissors are now easy to see and easy to reach! Great reorganization, Dani! Beautiful work in your journal and those dragonfly ATCs are divine!
Happy hopping this Wednesday!

Hi Danielle
What a great idea with your wall hanging that would free up a lot of desk and storage space.
Your journal book is looking lovely with all those colours going on and what great ATC's
Happy WOYWW and wishing you a great week

I love your pegboard, it's a fantastic idea, wish I had the wall space. Beautiful journal pages and atc's, but the parrot has stolen the show! He's a stunner, and a hungry stunner too by the looks of things! We put out birdseed too, we get a lot of little Chickadees and finches visit us. Thanks for the advise, I think I will seal it when it's done, partly because I'm a clumsy oaf and I think the paint might chip easily.
Hugs

I am so envious of your feather friends, he is so beautiful! Looks like you've had a very productive week!
It is good to reorganize. That is a beautiful bird. My dh is feeding birds and gets mad when the woodpecker drinks from the humming bird feeder. We do. Not have parrots. That is a beauty!

Hi Danie,
I really like that peg board! Actually, I've had a fondness of peg boards since I was a kid. My dad had one wall covered above his workbench in the garage. It was so much fun just crawling up and looking at all his tools hanging nicely.
Love your journal pages. I'm ready to start doing that too! The dragonfly ATCs are beautiful.
The bird is gorgeous! I wondered how you could tell the male from the females. I'm not sure why it is that the men have to be more colorful?
Thank you for visiting me already!!
Happy WOYWW

I'm in awe of the birds that visit you! That is so cool to have such beautiful, exotic birds visiting you.
Great pegboard organization. I've got a peg board, but I haven't figured out the best way to use it. And your bird is gorgeous! I can't believe such beautiful birds are in the wild. April #21
I learn all kind of new words searching through fellow worksdesks.
""Peg board"", this word I didn't know. But the board itzself is amazing.
I love the butterflies and the face on the right. It is so nice looking to other people's working place. Have a nice creating week.
Danie, the pegboard is so nice. I always wanted one but not sure where to put so I never get one. Yours looks great.
Love the colors in your art journal and oh my goodness the ATC swap..wow. So pretty.
I wish I lived next door to you. I love the birds. We don't have that kind of bird in this climate. I recently started up backyard birdwatching again. Please share more. How cool is that when it ate while your husband was holding the feeder. You have established a great level of trust.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and please do drop by again to keep me honest on my new blog series!
Have a blessed day!

Love the peg board and all those scissors also the backgrounds and ATCs and the bird is super, thanks for that. Explorers is 14yrs-18yrs and I like sewing the badges on and hemming the trousers and doing the name tapes despite the carpal tunnel syndrome making my hand go numb forcing me to stop and shake it about a bit! Think I'm happy that my son goes on the hikes and I do the sewing actually! LOL Thanks for the visit BJ#102
That peg board of your's looks so colourful and everything quick at hand :)
What a treat to have such colourful birds to visit it's like having a pet you never have to clean up after hugs Nikki 39
The peg board is great, pretty and useful!! I want a big red parrot on my deck... how wonderful is that? Great photo too! Annette #7
The pegboard is a fabulous idea. I love your journal and those dragon flies are gorgeous. Your parrot friend is so beautiful, we get the lorikeets here and a regular pair knock on the kitchen window if the liquid isn't in their bowl. It's wonderful that they are friendly enough to eat off your hubbys hand.
Have a great week,
Von #55
It must be wonderful to have birds like that in your garden. We only get boring ones in the UK! Magpies, Pigeons and a Robin if I'm lucky! Great journal pages. Hugs. Pam#37
