Can you help spread the word?

Hello Everyone, today this post is to help spread the word about a Special Cause Campaign that is being organised by one of my crafting friends Shazz in the wake of the devastating Queensland Flood Crisis.

Similar to the one Shazz organised for the victims of the Victorian Bush Fires, she is calling all paper crafters to get behind her Heart Cards Campaign and is asking for you all to make cards to be distributed to families affected by this disaster.

Many families have lost ALL of their possessions and similar to those victims of the Victorian Bush Fires, may like having a handmade card on hand to give to someone to say thank you or just to say hello which will help make their loss just that little bit easier to bear.

It would be much appreciated if you could support this cause, by making 10 cards that will be packaged up and distributed to families in the flood areas. You can make thank you cards or blank cards or a combination of both. (Please include an envelope with each card and you may also like to pop in a pack of 10 stamps to be sent with the card packs).

Please forward all cards no later than Friday, February 25 to Shazz Pratten, 9 Windsor Court, Goonellabah NSW 2480

For more information you can visit the Scrap Lounge, http://www.scraplounge.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10730

or visit the Heart Cards Blog http://heartcards.blogspot.com/

Please help spread the word of this worthy cause.

Danie this is breathtaking.

I am so sorry to hear about the floods! I will try and make some cards myself, and hopefully get them out by the beginning of Feb. That way they hopefully will make it to Shazz in time!
